AMC Networks has an incredible catalog of content. It also has $800 million in cash and $1.5 billion in net debt with a market cap currently hovering around $428 million. AMCX stock is priced at 40% of book value and just 17% if revenue with a forward price multiple under 2x earnings.

This is one has baffled me for years. it has gone up and down within a tight range and is currently down 53% this year. The company has over 11 million premium subscribers paying at least $5 per month plus all the cable television deals. Are people still watching television? Do people consume content daily by the billions? Yes and Yes.

AMC Networks generates nearly $500 million in operating cash flow every year. I do not think that it is going out of business even though its priced like it is… Net net, it should be worth well over the $2 billion enterprise value at some point in the next decade.
